Sally and I took a leisurely ride today along the Mary Carter Greenway to River Point. Refreshed with iced tea at Starbuck then headed back along the Platte River. Nixon's, the coffee shop along the way opens Memorial Day. A few flowering trees were in bloom, the mallards, herons, and geese enjoyed floating the river and plenty of bikers, hikers and their pups took advantage of the sunny but a bit windy, nearly 80 degree afternoon.
