PTI's Make It Monday #317 with Stephanie Gold - Using Outline Images

Using Outline Images..by Stephanie Gold
Learn how to use outline images along with solid images to create a project utilizing your take on Stephanie's tutorial. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include stenciled edges.

Below is my take on Stephanie's Challenge.

I used the stamp set A Bit More Butterfly Blooms to create my card.  The butterfly image was stamped in Smokey Shadow multiple times around the edge of a piece of Stampers Select White cardstock measuring 4"x 51/4. The flower and leaf solid images were then stamped randomly around the edge. I spattered a bit of Versamark re-inker and gold embossed the spatters. Next I die cut the sentiment "Thanks" from the Bold Borders: Diagonal Die using gold metallic paper to compliment the embossing and finished the sentiment from the Especially You stamp set. The corners were rounded and mounted on a Smokey Shadow card base. My goal was to create a spring like single layer card that could easily be mailed and meet the requirements of the MIM Challenge.

  • STAMPS: A Bit More Butterfly Blooms, Especially You.
  • INK: Smokey Shadow, Pale Peony, Lemon Tart, Lavender Moon, Aqua Mist, Green Parakeet, Versamark.
  • PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Smokey Shadow, Gold Metalic Paper from my scrap pile.
  • DIES: Bold Borders: Diagonal.
  • OTHER: Gold Filigree Detail Embossing Powder, Scor-Tape.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog..  ❤

  6. Very very pretty. It feels as if the lacy butterflies could fly off the page. Love the contrast between them and the delicate pastel flowers. Such nice balance.
